Masters of Photography-Robert Frank

Robert Frank(1924- ) is an American photographer who's most notable for his black and white photos of people. Frank was born in Switzerland but grew up in America, where he later took many of his photos.

I chose Robert Frank as a master photographer because his photos are very unique and show a deeper side to the harsh realities of American life. His pictures are unique in that they not only portray black and white colors in fine detail but capture a precious moment in time. His photos have inspired me to appreciate the fine lines in life and to treasure the ordinary moments in life more.

I think this is the best photo because of a few components.
1. This photo clearly demonstates the rule of thirds.
2. The colors are very vibrant and blended.
3. It's well composed and shows the main elements of the photo( the lights and festivity among the ruins).
4.  This picture captures a joyous time in a poverty stricken world.
5. The blue light illuminates the background.
6. The cluttering mess in the picture looks collective and you don't notice it among everything.
7. Since this picture was taken over a continuous amount  of time, you could somewhat see the different lights and people over time.
8. In this photo, there were a range of different blue colored lights. They showed pictures of shining
Lights among the shacks which represented te festivity of the parade.

As you can see, there are different buildings in this picture. In this picure, the lines are very definite and you can see different 'layers' popping out' from the background.
